While Northwest Indian enjoys a truly unique and advantageous location on the right side of Chicago, the Northwest Indiana Forum works with its regional, state and federal partners to ensure infrastructure needs are identified, well planned and executed to ensure the region’s economy.
Efficient travel times, sufficient modes of transportation, all contribute to reaching one third of the nation’s population with a day’s drive. A healthy and robust mass transit system is essential for the movement of people throughout Northwest Indiana.
As the voice of business leadership and the economic development corporation, the Forum is the champion of infrastructure necessary for smart growth and business retention in the region.
Projects Include: The Forum addresses other crucial issues related to transportation and infrastructure, economic development, local and state government and environmental affairs through public policy and advocacy.
