Northwest Indiana Forum Hosts Legislative Wrap-Up Featuring Bipartisan Legislators from Northwest Indiana
CHESTERTON, Ind., March 10, 2026 – The Northwest Indiana Forum welcomed over 90 members for their annual Legislative Wrap-Up Event, held on March 10th at Sand Creek Country Club. The event featured a bipartisan panel of Northwest Indiana state legislators who reflected on the 2026 Indiana General Assembly session and discussed their legislation and key issues affecting the region. Participating legislators included Senator Ed Charbonneau, Senator Rodney Pol, Representative Earl Harris, Representative Julie Olthoff, Representative Hal Slager, and Representative Ed Soliday.
“We are proud to provide a platform for thoughtful, bipartisan discussion that allows our members to hear directly from the leaders shaping policy at the Statehouse,” said Heather Ennis, President and CEO of the Northwest Indiana Forum. “These conversations are critical to ensuring the community leaders remain informed and engaged on the issues that affect Northwest Indiana’s economy and future growth.”
During the event, Forum members had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the region’s legislative delegation, creating a productive dialogue around the policies, priorities, and challenges facing Northwest Indiana.
The Legislative Wrap-Up is one of more than 20 events hosted annually by the Northwest Indiana Forum to connect business, government, and community leaders across the seven-county region. For more information about the Northwest Indiana Forum visit www.nwiforum.org.
